Our Artemis™ series HMI Film Lighting Balloon are specially designed and made for the film and TV industries. Its standard range has a lighting power of up to 10kW with over 1,000,000 lm of 5600K daylight quality output.

Artemis lighting balloons have a specially treated balloon envelope with HMI or hybrid (HMI + tungsten) as the light source. It distributes lights evenly and ideally, spreading the scene with conditions similar to daylight time. 

High-quality daylight quality

The color temperature of daylight is roughly between 5500K and 5600K. To ensure that the light quality is close to natural daylight, we specially selected high-quality light sources.

- In the film industry, Osram HMI lamps are a common standard option. Their excellent performance ensures that our lighting temperature fully meets the quality requirements of daylight.

Top electronics & ballast control 

- The Artemis could be customized to fit well with Arri or Power Gems ballasts. While our regular flicker-free power electronic ballast is also capable of making our lighting balloons work in high-speed shooting requirements to fulfill any possible needs.

Soft light is the ideal lighting condition man-made for occasions like studio, TV making, and film scene shooting. To resemble daylight quality, some special techniques must be used to make the general lighting source - HMI, LED, or tungsten halogen, etc. emit evenly distributed lights through a diffuser. By integrating our patented balloon lighting technology and the requirements of the film and TV industry, our Artemis was born. This lighting balloon is good for the rental market for repeated use. Lighting balloons, due to their versatility, offer a new and perfect option for the TV and film industry. Our product, however, is different from the traditional soft diffuser. Our lighting balloons currently range up to 20k - 20,000W HMI in tube shape. The balloon lights can be used either by filling with normal air for suspension use or filled with helium gas for float application. The application depends on your actual site/scene condition, lighting requirement, and budget. Besides, our upcoming Artemis - halo is used on a tripod stand for mobile use as partial fill-in light or other related purposes. Artemis Cloud is to be used to further soften the sunlight evenly.

Maintain & Storage: 

- Disinfect and clean the balloon regularly. 

-Check the balloon before using. If there is any damage, mend it with the repair kit (material patches and glue). 

-After use, remove sundries both outside and inside the balloon. 

-Before packing, ensure the balloon is clean and dry. Then store it in a cool and dry place.
